Potato Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1/2 small onion, cut up small
1 carrot, sliced thin
1 stalk celery, cut up small
1-inch slice Velveeta cheese
salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
parsley (if desired)
Preparation

Boil potatoes, onion, carrot and celery in salted water.
Use only enough water to almost cover.
Boil until water is cloudy and vegetables are soft.
Add Velveeta and stir until melted.
Add salt, pepper, butter and milk.
Heat slightly; do not boil.
