Peach Cobbler I - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar (scant)
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick
    oleo in small (square) cake pan.
    Pour batter over melted oleo; do not stir.
    Pour 1 pint (2 cups) fresh fruit, sweetened, over top.
    Bake 40 minutes at 375\u00b0.
