Apple Pie, My Eye - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unbaked pastry shell
    14 salted crackers, crumbled
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 c. water
    generous amount of cinnamon
    butter
Preparation
    Line pie pan with pastry. Sprinkle crumbs onto dough.
    Bring sugar, water and cream of tartar to a boil.
    Pour over crackers. Sprinkle with cinnamon and dot with butter.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
