Beef Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 onions, diced
    1 medium cabbage, shredded
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    3/4 c. rice (not Minute)
    2 cans beef broth
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a large saucepan brown meat and onions.
    Remove from heat; add cabbage, carrots, salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Pour rice in 3-quart casserole.
    Spoon meat mixture on top.
    Pour beef broth and water over top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
