Oreo Cookie Freak Out - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1- 20 oz package oreo cookies
    16 oz jar of hershey fudge topping
    8 oz of cool whip
    1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream, softened slightly
    unsalted peanuts
    cherries
Preparation
    Crush cookies, set aside 1 cup for topping later.
    Press the crushed cookies into a 9 x 13 inch pan.
    Spread ice cream in a layer over the cookies.
    Top with the fudge.
    Sprinkle peanuts over the fudge.
    Cover with cool whip, top with remaining crushed cookies and cherries.
    Freeze for several hours or overnight.
