"Cheesy Onion Steak" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. beef chuck steak (1/2-inch thick)
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
4 slices onion
lemon pepper
1/4 c. shredded process American cheese
Preparation

Remove any bone from steak; cut meat in 2 pieces. Coat with mixture of flour and salt. Pound to 1/4-inch thickness. In 8-inch skillet, brown the meat slowly in hot oil. Top each piece with 2 onion slices; sprinkle with lemon pepper. Add 1/2 cup water. Reduce heat; cover and simmer. Heat 1 to 2 minutes to melt cheese. Makes 2 servings.
