Pasties - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. finely cubed cooked beef
1 c. finely cubed uncooked potato
1/2 c. thinly sliced uncooked carrot
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 small onion chopped
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
dash pepper
1 pkg. (9 1/2 oz.) Pillsbury pie crust mix
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
In a large mixing bowl combine beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, soup, salt, poultry seasoning and pepper. Mix well: set aside. Prepare double pie crust recipe using mix. Divide dough into 6 equal portions. Roll out each portion on a floured surface to a 7 inch circle. Place heaping half-cup of meat mixture on each pastry circle. Moisten edges with water, fold in half. Seal edges and prick top with fork. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 25-30 minutes or until light golden brown. Eat from hand like sandwich or serve with mushroom sauce, or with a favorite gravy mix, prepared as directed.
