Surprise Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. well drained sauerkraut
    2 c. shredded carrots
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    dash of black pepper
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1/3 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl combine sauerkraut, carrots, celery, green pepper, onion and pimento.
    In separate bowl combine sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper; pour over sauerkraut mixture.
    Toss to mix.
    Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours before serving.
