Baked Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, thawed completely
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. crushed corn flakes or potato chips
Preparation
    Combine all but last ingredient, pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.
    Top with crushed corn flakes or potato chips.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
