Pierogi Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 to 15 potatoes, boiled and mashed
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    4 onions, finely chopped
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried, drained and crumbled
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. sour cream
    12 lasagna noodles
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook noodles; put aside.
    Mash potatoes and add cheese to potatoes; beat, using a mixer.
    Add sour cream.
    Saute onions in margarine until soft.
    Add half of onions to potato mixture as well as bacon, salt and pepper.
    Place layer of noodles in 9 x 13-inch pan, then a layer of potato mixture.
    Repeat, ending with noodles.
    Top with remaining onions and margarine.
    Cover with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 until heated through, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
