Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 pieces chicken, skinned
    1 c. flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    pepper to taste
    oil
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. honey
    1/2 c. chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation
    Soak skinned chicken in buttermilk for 1 1/2 hours.
    Combine flour, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
    Coat chicken with flour mix; let set for 20 minutes, then fry in oil until nicely browned. Place chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Melt butter and honey together; add pecans.
    Heat until golden brown.
    Pour over chicken and serve with rice.
