Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked squash (yellow)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. canned milk
    1 stick margarine
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    4 eggs, separated
    2 (9-inch) baked pie shells
Preparation
    Cook the squash; measure out 3 cups.
    Add sugar, milk, egg yolks and rest of the ingredients.
    Cook until thick.
    Pour into baked pie shells.
    Beat the 4 egg whites with 1/4 cup of sugar. Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
