World'S Best Macaroni And Cheese Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
    2 Tbsp. grated onion
    1 stick margarine
    4 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. hot milk
    3/4 lb. American cheese, coarsely grated (I prefer Velveeta)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. each pepper and paprika
Preparation
    Cook macaroni as directed.
    Melt margarine in a large saucepan.
    Add onion and let saute for 3 minutes, using low heat. Do not let brown.
    Add flour; blend well.
    Add hot milk and cheese.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Add cooked macaroni that has been well drained.
    This makes 1 large or 2 (1 1/2-quart) casseroles.
    This freezes well.
