Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cubed stew beef
    3 to 4 potatoes, cut in large pieces
    3 to 4 onions
    1 bunch sliced carrots
    1 pkg. onion soup
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can celery soup
    1/2 c. water or red wine
Preparation
    Layer the first 4 ingredients in a large Pyrex dish or Dutch oven.
    Combine remaining ingredients; pour mixture over meat and vegetables.
    Cover and cook at 250\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
