Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. baking soda (add later)
    1 tsp. vanilla (add later)
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    16 c. popped corn
    1/2 c. peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Place popped corn in brown bag.
    Microwave sugar, corn syrup, margarine and salt for 1 to 2 minutes until it bubbles.
    Boil for 3 minutes, stirring after each minute.
    Add baking soda and vanilla. Stir well.
    Pour over popped corn in brown bag and microwave for 1 minute.
    Shake well.
    Microwave 1/2 minute more.
    Shake and pour onto waxed paper.
