Divinity(Club Member: Jason Baldwin) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. salt
3 egg whites, beaten very stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Combine sugar, Karo, water and salt in large pot; bring to a boil. Continue to boil until mixture forms a hard ball when dropped into cold water. Very slowly pour this mixture over beaten egg whites, beating constantly. Continue beating until thickened. Add pecans and vanilla. Stir well and drop onto buttered foil.
