Oysters Rockefeller Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. raw oysters
1/4 lb. butter
1 onion, chopped
1 stalk celery
1/2 c. parsley
1 (10 oz.) pkg. chopped spinach, thawed
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. bread crumbs
salt, pepper and cayenne to taste
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Preparation

Drain oysters.
Saute celery and onion in butter for 5 minutes.
Add parsley, thawed spinach, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and cayenne.
Grease a shallow casserole. Arrange oysters in one layer only.
Cover with spinach mixture. Bake 30 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Remove and sprinkle with cheese and very thin layer of bread crumbs.
Return to oven for 10 minutes. Yields 8 servings.
