Apple-Cheese Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter (room temperature)
    1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese (room temperature)
    3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 cans sliced apples
    2 tsp. spice (allspice, cinnamon, etc., optional)
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar; add cheese, then spice, then add flour.
    Mixture will be very stiff and paste-like when well mixed.
    Butter a square or oblong baking dish well.
    Pour apples in dish and then spoon paste batter over the apples.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 preheated oven for 45 minutes.
