Bacon And Cheddar Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
4 to 6 boneless chicken breasts
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. seasoned dry breadcrumbs
1/2 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp, then drain and crumble.
Discard all but three tablespoons drippings from skillet.
Reserve skillet and bacon.
Dip chicken first into egg, then into breadcrumbs to coat completely.
Saute in hot bacon drippings for 4 to 5 minutes over medium-high heat until golden brown on both sides.
When chicken is nearly cooked, top with cheese.
Cover and melt cheese, then remove skillet.
Crumble bacon over chicken.
