7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1 small red onion, finely chopped
    few stalks celery, chopped
    3/4 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
    4 hard boiled eggs, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) frozen peas, broken apart
    2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Layer in order listed (except for bacon) in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover and refrigerate.
    Do not toss.
    Do not add bacon until serving time.
    It will soften if added early.
    You can make this the day before.
