Fried Squash Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked yellow squash
    1 onion, chopped
    2 well-beaten eggs
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Drain squash and add onions, eggs, bread crumbs, cheese, salt and pepper; mix well.
    Shape mixture into balls; roll in additional bread crumbs.
    Chill about 6 hours.
    Fry in deep, hot grease.
