"Dirt Pie" - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cold milk
1 (4-serving) pkg. Jell-O chocolate instant pudding and pie filling
3 1/2 c. (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
20 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
1 1/2 c. \"rocks\"*
1 pkg. graham cracker pie crust
chocolate chips
peanut butter chips or chopped nuts

Preparation

Pour milk into a medium bowl.
Add pudding mix.
Beat with a wire whisk until well blended, 1 to 2 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Fold in whipped topping.
Stir 1 cup of the cookies and the \"rocks\" into pudding mixture.
Spoon into pie crust.
Sprinkle with rest of cookies.
Freeze until firm.
You can decorate with gumdrop flowers.
Serves 6 to 8.
