Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2/3 c. soft butter or melted shortening
    1/4 c. molasses
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat first four ingredients together.
    Add remaining ingredients after sifting together.
    Chill.
    Roll in balls about size of a quarter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes and roll in granulated sugar. Makes 4 dozen.
