Fried Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 strips bacon
    6 apples
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Drain and keep hot.
    Leave about 4 tablespoons drippings in skillet.
    Fill with sliced, unpeeled apples and brown lightly.
    Sprinkle with sugar, 1/2 cup per quart. Cover and cook slowly until tender.
    Remove cover to let apples brown and cook off excess juice.
    Serve on hot platter with bacon.
