Risotta Milanese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1 c. uncooked rice
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. white wine or sherry
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Remove sausage from casing and crumble.
    In large skillet, melt butter.
    Add sausage, onion, mushrooms and garlic.
    Saute until tender, about 5 minutes.
    Stir in rice and saute until rice is lightly browned.
    Add chicken broth, wine or sherry.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
