Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. black walnuts or coconut
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    2 egg whites
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, syrup and water.
    Cook until it spins thread or soft ball stage. Pour 1/2 of it on the egg whites that have been beaten stiff.
    Pour slowly so as not to cook the eggs too quickly.
    Cook other half until it will form a hard ball in cold water, then pour it into the other while beating.
    Beat until creamy.
    Add nuts or coconut.
    Pour into buttered pan or onto wax paper.
