Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. self-rising cornmeal
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. sharp cheese
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cream-style corn
    2 eggs
    2 to 3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1/2 c. oil
    1 medium size onion, chopped
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, add cornmeal, flour, sugar and cheese.
    Put into blender corn, eggs, jalapeno peppers, oil and onion; chop well.
    Add this to first 4 ingredients and mix well.
    Add buttermilk and blend well.
    Pour in muffin pans and cook in 350\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 24 muffins.
