Christmas Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 1 1/2 size) can diced pineapple
    1 pt. maraschino cherries, left whole
    1 lb. jar small sweet pickles, left whole
    1 c. seedless raisins
    1 lb. figs, quartered
    1 stick cinnamon
    20 whole cloves
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Make syrup.
    Boil
    together
    vinegar,
    sugar, cinnamon, water and cloves.
    Pack fruit, which
    has been drained, into a gallon jar and cover with syrup.
    Ready
    to
    eat
    after 2 or 3 days. Store in refrigerator.
    Keeps well for several weeks.
