Refrigerator Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. cucumbers, sliced
    1 large onion, sliced
    3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. salt
    2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt and vinegar in saucepan and heat, stirring, until sugar and salt are dissolved.
    Add celery seed and mustard seed.
    Place sliced cucumbers and onions in jars and pour the vinegar mixture over them.
    Refrigerate.
    They will be ready to eat in a week or two.
