Oatmeal Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. rolled quick oats
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. raisins or chopped dates, prunes or apricots (plump by soaking in hot water or juice)
Preparation
    Beat eggs well and stir in brown sugar, oats and buttermilk. Let stand while combining whole wheat flour, salt, soda and baking powder separately.
