Sausage And Egg Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    butter or margarine
    1 lb. sausage
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) Longhorn cheese, grated
    6 eggs
    2 c. low-fat milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread.
    Spread butter on bread slices.
    Put butter side down, in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cook sausage.
    Crumble and drain well.
    Spoon sausage over bread.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Mix eggs, half and half and salt.
    Pour over cheese.
    Cover and store in refrigerator overnight.
    Remove 15 minutes before baking.
    Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until firm.
