Baked Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Milk
    1/2 c. Sugar
    1 c. Flour
    2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1 c. Chopped Dates
    1/4 tsp. Salt
    1/2 c. Chopped Nuts
Preparation
    Mix together and spread into 8x8-inch pan.
    Top this mixture with:
    2 cups boiling water mixed with 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar.
    Pour over batter and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
