Sierra Ski Brunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    12 slices white bread (crusts removed)
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    2 c. thinly sliced onions
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 1/2 lb. mild Italian sausage
    3/4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    5 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3 tsp. Dijon mustard
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground pepper
    2 Tbsp. fine chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Butter bread and set aside.
    In a skillet, brown mushrooms and onions in melted butter.
    Cook 5 to 8 minutes, or until tender. Cut sausage into bite-size pieces and saute in separate skillet until done.
    Set aside.
