Mardi Gras Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped candied cherries
    1 c. chopped candied pineapple
    1 c. nuts
    1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine until smooth, butter and cream cheese.
    Add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Stir in vanilla; add eggs, beating well after each.
    Stir together and add 2 1/2 cups flour and baking powder. Combine chopped cherries, chopped pineapple, nuts and 1/4 cup flour.
    Add creamed mixture.
    Spoon into greased bundt pan or 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans and bake at 325\u00b0 for 60 to 80 minutes. (Test for doneness after 60 minutes.)
