Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 small pkg. strawberry jello

Preparation

Cook and stir the ingredients, except for the jello, until thick and clear.
Remove from heat and add 1/2 small jello.
Cool and pour over 1 quart of strawberries in pie shell.
Cover with Cool Whip.
