Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites
    6 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1 qt. milk
    1 1/2 c. rum
    1 pt. heavy cream
    1 qt. store eggnog
Preparation
    Beat egg whites separately; set aside.
    Beat egg yolks until thick, then fold in egg whites.
    Add 1 cup of sugar, milk and rum. Beat heavy cream until thick and add to mixture.
    Add the store-bought eggnog.
