Fettucini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. fettucini
    3/4 c. whipping cream, at room temperature
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook fettucini in 4 quarts boiling water until tender.
    Drain and place back in pot.
    Add butter and toss fettucini.
    Add the cream; heat until thick.
    Add cheese, salt and pepper.
    Allow cheese to melt and become a smooth sauce.
    Serve hot with Caesar salad and garlic bread.
