Double Rich Brownie Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
    1/2 c. sweet butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. malted powder
    3 Tbsp. heavy cream
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
    Beat eggs in a large bowl until light and lemon colored.
    Slowly beat in chocolate mixture. Sift flour with malted powder, then beat into chocolate mixture one tablespoon at a time.
    Butter a 9-inch loose-bottom tart pan. Pour batter into pan.
    Bake about 25 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out fairly clean.
    Center should be very moist.
    Cool completely on a rack.
    Remove from pan and serve, cut into thin slices (10 servings).
