Frosty Orange Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 prepared pie shell or 1 graham cracker pie shell (8-inch)
1 (3 oz.) box orange jello
1 (8 oz.) can Mandarin oranges, sliced
1 pt. vanilla ice cream
1 c. heavy cream or 2 c. whipped topping
toasted slivered almonds (optional)
Preparation

Drain oranges, saving juice; refrigerate.
Add enough water to the juice to make 1 cup.
Bring to boil.
Add jello; mix until dissolved.
Stir in the ice cream.
Let sit in refrigerator until thickened.
Stir in orange slices and pour filling into the pie shell.
