Coated Walnuts(Candy) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. liquid (see flavor variations)
1 tsp. white corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. walnuts

Preparation

In 2-quart saucepan, mix first 4 ingredients.
Cook to soft ball stage, 238\u00b0.
Add walnuts and stir until creamy.
Quickly turn out on waxed paper and separate.
