Hard Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Karo (clear)
1 c. water
1 tsp. Lorann flavoring oil *
1/2 tsp. food coloring
Preparation

In a large, heavy pot, cook sugar, Karo and water over medium heat until 310\u00b0 is reached on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat. Add flavoring and food coloring, stirring well.
Pour onto powdered sugar dusted heavy-duty aluminum foil.
Cool thoroughly and break into small pieces.
Store in airtight container.
