Matchsticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. potatoes
    cooking oil
    salt or garlic salt
Preparation
    Wash and peel potatoes.
    Cut potatoes into the thinnest possible slivers and soak in ice water for 30 minutes.
    Drain and dry, then immerse in boiling oil for 1 or 2 minutes.
    Remove and place on paper towel to dry.
    Then put back into the boiling oil the second time for a minute.
    Remove and drain.
    Sprinkle with salt or garlic salt.
