Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    4 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Heat milk, sugar, salt, butter and vanilla hot, but not boiling.
    Beat eggs good (frothy) in large bowl.
    Pour milk mixture slowly over eggs, still beating.
    Put in oven in casserole at 450\u00b0. Let cook 5 minutes.
    Turn off oven and leave custard 5 minutes more.
    Let cool.
