Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 bananas
    2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    3 sticks margarine
    2 eggs
    2 c. powdered sugar
    1 (No. 3) can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 large Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 small jar maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix 1 melted stick of butter with crumbs and a dash of salt. Mix well and put into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Beat eggs, remaining butter and sugar with mixer for no less than 5 minutes.
    Spread this over the pressed crumb mixture.
    Top with bananas and then pineapple.
    Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts and cherries.
    Chill overnight.
    Serves about 12.
