Cabbage And Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 cabbage leaves
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 egg
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. rice (regular)
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
    1 (10 oz.) can water
    1/2 medium onion, sliced
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine hamburger, uncooked rice, egg, salt and pepper.
    Set aside.
    Boil cabbage leaves for 5 minutes.
    In a pan, saute onion in vegetable oil.
    Add lemon juice, sugar, soup and water.
    Simmer.
    Take 1/10 of hamburger mixture, roll into a ball, wrap a cabbage leaf around the mixture and place it in a large pot with the opening of cabbage at the bottom.
    Continue until all hamburger/cabbage is used.
    Pour the onion/soup sauce over cabbage rolls.
    Simmer on low for 3 hours.
