Baked Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) pkg. hash brown potatoes (frozen)
    1 can cream of potato soup (undiluted)
    1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1/2 c. milk
    1 to 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 c. onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/4 c. margarine, melted
Preparation
    Scrub and cut up potatoes (amount needed for your family). Put a small amount of water in a casserole dish.
    Pour melted butter over potatoes in casserole dish.
    Use 1/4 cup butter for 4 to 6 people.
    Add salt and pepper and parsley, if desired.
    Bake about 1 hour.
    Stir to coat potatoes.
    This recipe can also be microwaved.
