Fanny Farmers Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 lb. margarine
    3 (6 oz.) bags chocolate chips
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring sugar and milk to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Keep at a hard rolling boil for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and add margarine.
    Let melt and beat by hand for 2 minutes.
    Add chocolate chips and vanilla.
    Beat 10 to 15 minutes with mixer.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cut into squares when cool.
