Saltine Sweeties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    saltines
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
    1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt butter and sugar together in saucepan.
    Line jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with saltines.
    Pour mixture over saltines. Bake in oven at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Remove from oven; sprinkle with semi-sweet chocolate bits.
    Return to oven for 1 minute. Remove from oven; spread out chocolate bits.
    Sprinkle with finely chopped walnuts.
    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
    Break into brittle type pieces.
