Microwave Red Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 links smoked sausage
    1 medium onion
    1/4 c. shallots
    1/4 c. parsley
    1/2 medium bell pepper
    1 can tomato sauce
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 beef cube
    4 c. liquid (add water to soup and sauce to equal 4 cups)
    2 tsp. sugar
    2 c. rice
Preparation
    Saute onions, shallots, parsley, bell pepper and sausage over stove a few minutes.
    Add everything else except rice.
    Let this come to a boil.
    Now add rice.
    Take this off of the stove.
    Cover with lid.
    Microwave for 35 minutes on 50% power.
    Stir twice during cooking.
    Let stand for 15 minutes before serving (covered).
    Do not over microwave.
    This may not look done.
    The longer it stands, the better it is.
    It finishes cooking while standing.
