Cocoa Cherry Drops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
6 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped maraschino cherries, drained
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
Add egg and vanilla; blend well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in chopped nuts and cherries.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Garnish with candied cherries or walnut pieces, if desired.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
